Welcome to Dulaney High School's Model UN program!
Model United Nations is an international club that simulates the workings of the real United Nations. Students engage in debates and diplomacy in order to create resolutions and solve real-world problems, boosting their public speaking skills and knowledge of current world issues. We have meetings every Wednesday in Room 102.
Dulaney High School MUN and its members participate in Towson University MUN, Calvert Hall MUN, YMCA Hershey MUN (Hopefully back up and running soon!), and many more each year, providing ample opportunities to compete at a variety of levels.
We hope to be an inviting and educational community that pushes you in the best way possible and challenges you to make a difference in the world.
Visit "How To MUN" for helpful resources to prepare for conference and here for important dates/deadlines
Mission Statement from the YMCA Civic Engagement (Hershey MUN): Our program is designed to introduce students to the operation and structure of the United Nations while providing them with an opportunity to actively learn about world cultures and debate issues of international importance. Students will actively participate in conflict resolution, public speaking, and coalition building, in addition to making new friends and being exposed to new ideas. The program promotes leadership through character development, while introducing students to a vast array of ideas.
